When are ball bearing slewing rings suitable?
Ball bearing slewing rings are an economical solution for applications with occasional slewing and steering movements. Typical areas of application include trailers, agricultural vehicles, transport trolleys, and welding tables. For industrial applications with continuous rotation, higher loads, or longer operating times, we recommend the use of slewing bearings. These are specially designed for continuously rotating movements and offer higher load capacities as well as a longer service life. In addition, unlike slewing rings, four-point contact bearings can absorb tilting moments.
